Beautifully engraved 1932 bill of exchange from the Standard Bank of South Africa Limited, Cape Town branch, drawn on London Assurance. Features Britannia vignette and fine typography. The Standard Bank was one of the leading banks in colonial Africa. Excellent specimen of African-British financial history.
