Large-format nominative share certificate issued by Crédit Lyonnais, Lyon, dated 1897, for 200 shares. Ornate green border with allegorical female figures and the French lion. One of France’s most important banks, Crédit Lyonnais played a major role in European finance from the 19th century onwards. Beautifully engraved and historically significant.
