Issued in Windau by the firm Gutschmann Brothers, this Bill of Exchange from January 1874 features dual stamps from Riga and Ventspils, and is addressed to Schroeder & Co. in London. A fine example of 19th-century Anglo-Baltic commerce. Includes printed Russian imperial taxation column and original signatures.
