Lot 43:
Description
Odessa; 11th issue totalled just 1000 shares
Historic share certificate from the Bessarabian-Tauric Agrarian Bank, issued in Odessa in 1908 for 250 rubles. Printed in ornate brown and green with multilingual text (Russian, French, German), this bond is a stunning example of Imperial Russian scripophily. It includes four Imperial Russian revenue stamps at top, numerous validation stamps, and attached dividend coupons dated up to 1917. This bank served the agricultural regions of Bessarabia and Taurida, reflecting the economic landscape of the Russian Empire pre-revolution. Perfect for collectors of Imperial Russia, agricultural banks, or Romanian historical finance, as Bessarabia later became part of Romania.
